I know this has been discussed before and its the DM.
I would implore anyone considering such procedures to do your own research and seriously consider not having it but instead to try contact lenses which give you perfect vision without taking a cutter and laser to something as precious as the human eye.
Dont be taken in by the glossy adverts, the deals and the goody goody stories. It can go wrong, there are complications and i think that at this stage, those risks for me personally are far far too great.
Even if i was considering it, i would only consider it at an establishment such as moorfields and with the best technology/surgeons.

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I second this, if your prescription is so complex that you need to pay for XR (extended range) contact lenses then laser eye surgery WILL NOT WORK. Some unscrupulous companies will offer the surgery anyway, tell you it hasn't worked 100% but isn't it wonderful that your vision has improved a bit.
If you are "complex" and want vision correcting surgery the only real option is intra-ocular lens implant (IOL), this is pretty much identical to cataract surgery but you get your prescription fixed and if you go for a multi focal lens you won't need reading glasses either. Expect this surgery to cost upwards of £5K0
