DMP review has not been amended online

I've recently had to reduce my monthly payment to Step Change as part of my debt management plan. However, this change is not reflected on my online DMP and is still shower the higher amount which is set to be debited from my bank account next month. I was advised over the phone that the monthly payment has been amended. But, having checked my online statement, nothing has changed. Subsequently, I've had to cancel this months direct debit in case the higher amount is deducted in error.... Can anybody advise me please?...I've made this month's payment over the phone. Thanks.

You need to contact step change and talk to them about it.

  • I recently amended my payment and noted that there was a delay in the amount altering online but the correct amount was debited. As previous poster contact sc to be sure.
