It is always worth checking their maths, and your own, and if you did this where I worked we'd probably negotiate whether you wanted to lose some pay or lose the time from the current year (which is OK because we give more leave than the statutory minimum).

But the moral is to always keep your own record of what you've taken vs your entitlement.

Take an equivalent amount of time off sick at an opportune and inconvenient time to suit you..That will save you debating about it :)
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Assuming that everyone pulls sickies when they feel like it, what will that achieve except another three days loss of pay? Most people don't get contractual sick pay. And I doubt the OP does. So three days sick equals no pay at all.

I assume the OP works 2 days a week and is given 11 days holiday, if I assume right them this should be 11.2 days holiday which can be rounded up but not down (or can be left at .2 of a day)

I would query by email whether the shifts left off were to take back the money you owed them then, presuming they say 'yes', hold onto their reply email saying it was.

If you don't get it on record that this is what they have done what's to stop them saying you didn't work those shifts and taking the money back at another time?
