I sold a bulky 1.5 kg item via Global Shipping to someone in Italy. They paid £15. I had my settings to uk only on this one due to the weight. Guess they were happy with the price.0 -

Customer paid within a couple of hours, so parcelled it up, and it's ready to go.
I've just this minute had a message from the buyer, asking for it to be sent first class as she wants it by Wednesday.
Normally, I've posted my parcels by this time on a Monday, so I'm very tempted to say that the parcel has already gone.
But I want to moan about
A). The subtle pressure customers put you under, even though it's something that they haven't paid for.. The rudeness of the buyer. Why didn't she ask yesterday, before she had paid. I could have sent her an invoice for 1st class postage.
I know it's only 40p, but it's the principle of the thing.
Rant over!
I get this all the time, although I offer freepost 2nd, 1st and SD I often get people asking for a free upgrade to 1st class. I wonder whether they see the options when buying on a phone/tablet?0 -

I have opted out of global shipping
My site preferences are set to UK only
My listings are ticked to UK only
Why have I a bidder from Thailand?
I see on my Buyer Requirements Log they were initally blocked:(:(:(

I had a lovely positive from a buyer that rarely leaves feedback and has a possibly higher than average number of neutrals and negs left when he does (all against positive comments).
One of the negs he left says 'good seller item came quickly, v happy' and that is basically what he left me as well.
Now 2 weeks later my seller dashbaord shows he actually left me a 1* for item description.
I email buyer and he confirms he made a mistake and it should be 5*.
Get on the phone to ebay who say they understand my concern and note buyer confirms it was an accident, but as ti was left against a positive feedback it must have been buyers opinion at the time, ie two weeks ago- and it is not subject to removal.
When I questioned how they intended to hang on to their sellers when we are penalised for a stupid buyer not understanding the system I was told it was all good as my account could easily take the defect. As I pointed out to him the last two were also 'accidents' according to the buyers and if my rate of accidental poor stars was average across all sellers then smaller sellers don't stand a chance. His response 'you must just be unlucky' as other sellers are not reporting this accidents.

Buyers that ask very detailed questions about an item, so that I spend time answering, and then are not heard from ever again.... not even a thanks but no thanks... :mad:0

I had a moan a few days ago about the buyer who wanted her dress sent 1st class, when she paid for second class.
In the end, I sent it 1st class, but messaged to say an extra 40p payment via PayPal would be appreciated.
Needless to say, no further payment has been received.
But I've just received a message from her, trying to recruit me into her pyramid selling scheme!
!!!!!!???
Needless to say she's now on my blocked bidders listEarly retired - 18th December 2014

180 days for a refund through Paypal is ridiculous. Recently sold a tablet + accessories for £1k and I can't be 100% sure that money is mine until the end of August... I have no reason to expect a refund but that's not the sort of money I can risk just being ripped out from under me. >.<0

Two messages in the past two days from uk buyers saying eBay says I don't ship to their location. Thought this problem had finally been resolved ! How many buyers don't even bother to contact me ? Come on eBay, provide the service I am paying you for. . :mad:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0

Side with Ebay here. Its not hard to choose 5* so s/he might rate it as a 1*? and saying what they said to you to get rid of you?0
