Hi All,
I will be applying for a mortgage in 18 months. I will still have late payments present on my credit file although they will be 2.5 years old by this point. Only '1' markers and no defaults or CCJ's.
I know that these late payments WILL be an issue but will the fact that I am only looking 60-65%LTV help me to secure a reasonable deal? I really don't want to go down the sub prime route if possible.
There have been and will be no more late payments since the ones that I have already mentioned.

LTV is only part of the equation when lenders process your application. In principle the lower the LTV the better the interest rate that a lender will offer.0 -
All rates are reasonable in the current market.
Will you have your pick of rates? No
Will you get something sensible? If everything else stacks - yesI am a Mortgage Broker
