CCJ from Parking Eye

Hi,
I'm sure there has been hundreds and hundreds of posts like this that you read every day but I'd be grateful if you could help me. I have received countless letters from Parking Eye over the past year or so claiming that I spent 30 or so minutes over the limit of my supermarket (free) car-park.
The original charge was £80 or something which I thought was ridiculous. I went online and got told to ignore any threatening letters. I didn't look too much into it - apparently most of the time they will just leave you alone. And so I left it.
2 weeks ago I received yet another letter from them (some time had passed between this one and the last one I can even remember getting) and I opened it up to find I had a 1 sheet letter to myself titled "Judgement for Claimant (in default). The sheet of paper had the claimants address, my address, telling me to pay £185.00 for costs and debt (?) as I never replied to a claim form. If I ignore this order, my goods may be removed or sold etc.
Am I correct in saying that I must pay this now? If so, is this ALL I have to pay? I get a feeling I'm going to get yet another letter next week asking for some more because they've bombarded me with letters for a while.
Some other questions - how long do I have to pay them? (If I NEED to pay them) The letter was issued 26. Jan 2015. And how should I pay them? I've never payed a cheque in my life. Don't ask, I'm a young lad, I've never had to. But the letter implies I must send the payment via post to their address.
Thanks for any help.

if you search this forum for parking eye and ccj advice you will find dozens of similar cases
I believe that the CCJ is issued after 28 days and after that they can apply enforcement through the courts , assuming you dont pay it and settle the debt owed via the court
you would have to ask them the methods of payment, but I believe you can buy a cheque at a bank, or possibly pay by card payments or BACS transfer
once the amount is paid in full, I believe that is it and the claim is marked as "settled"

Read the Newbies Stickies, if only to truly learn what parking lie do and how to avoid future nasties.
You need to read up on cases where people have resorted to Court to have a judgment set aside, again well-covered in the stickies.
You're a long way from this point yet, but if you fear further missives from parkinglie, you need to READ now, then come back with specific ?s
Was it one parking event, or more?
