Transferring points from old Boots receipts...

I've just applied for a Boots advantage card online as I seem to get a lot of vouchers from there to spend. I've kept all my old receipts so would it be possible to transfer those points from past transactions onto my Advantage card when it arrives?

youd be better putting this on the right forum as it is not a freebie
  • You can transfer them onto your card next time your in Boots but you only have 30 days from the date on your receipt.

the sales person has to validate your receipt and then you have 30 days to claim back your points. if it isn't validated then you can't. you can tell by there being a barcode on the bottom of the receipt, basically its the bit they scan to add the points! hth!
  • apologies if it's in the wrong forum but where else could i have put it?

anyway, so if my receipts don't have a barcode then i definitely can't transfer them? that sucks. might try it anyway because i'm cheeky like that!

I work in Boots and it doesn't matter how "cheeky" you are, the sales assistants actually can't add the points without the validation code, we need to call a supervisor for that, and even they will tell you that you can't have the points :p

Just make sure you remember to ask for the reciept to be validated, cos no one will do it otherwise if you say you don't have a card.
