Contracted out question

Hi there you can apply for an estimate, although they will tell you because a new scheme is coming in place that the amount quoted may be different. The website is helpful & this is from memory but I think it does say when the new scheme is starting so you could apply for an estimate after that date. My estimate took only two weeks although I expected it to be longer.

The last statement I got a couple of months ago didn't factor my contracted out years, and when I phone the pension service they informed me that they won't be able to give me an accurate forecast until late in 2015

A forecast done a few months ago was as accurate as they ever were.

The bit about deductions means "there can be" not "there will be" a deduction.

I believe this is only for pre 88 AP / CODS anyway?

Again thank you for looking, I am 56 next I have sent off for another statement on Monday and I will let you know what the forcast is when I get it.

Well here is my forecast after a wait of about five weeks (not bad),
New pension rules £104.76 a week New pension rules £163.11 a week.
To be honest I thought I would have less than £163.11 after being contracted out so that is fine.
