Would payments stop in these circumstances?

This is purely out of curiosity after I was asked by a family member and I had no answer.
If your DSC is over 18 but still study 2 full days a week and also working 3 earning are you still required to pay CSA?
Also if said child quits college for an apprenticeship which pays full time wage but requires a day at college so still studying is CSA payable?
Sort of situation we are in (which is why question was asked) but not going through CSA thankfully after years of their trouble, causing much unnecessary resentment . We have no intention of stopping payments as we feel that what we pay would be the same if DSC lived with us, eg food, utilities generally things you help older children out with. We also know that the travel costs for study are quite high and don't want DSC to give up because of costs. The mother could be rolling in it or have nothing we have no idea (not our business unless more help for DSC is required) so this money may even be need to feed dsc.
It really is that neither of us have any idea I know we could find out somehow whether or not cb is being paid but really not looking for a personal answer just general. Just if anyone has five mins and wants to shed any light that'd be nice.

If their course is classed as "full time" then CB and maintenance is still payable
If the apprenticeship is an unpaid one then CB is still payable so maintenance would be too
Best looking at the information on the child benefit website as to what courses qualify0
