    hi,

for us it's online all the way. It has reduced my grocery spend by £40-£50. per week.

We use mr a, brilliant service for a brilliant price.

I'm an in-store girl. I enjoy food shopping, love to see what I'm buying and stock up on reduced stuff for the freezer. I never go without a list, though, and I try to stick to it to a certain degree. The only on-line shopping experience I enjoy is with Approved Foods for the "weird and wonderful" stuff from all over the world.

I think it depends on the supermarkets in your area. I have not had any success with Mr A (one deliver 2 hours after cancelling it due to already being 2 hours past delivery slot another cancelled as too many items out of stock and total therefore under minimum order), but Mr T are great for me.

A friend has had the opposite experience Mr A have been fab and Mr T hopeless! Basically you need to give them all a try until you find the one that suits you best.

I also find that with regular shopping you can predict the offers on things you buy often. For me it is definitely money saving as I see the total and revise my basket to keep within budget. In store it is already through the checkout before the total hits me.

me too can easily stay within budget.

    BUT
I much prefer to pick the freshest food, or produce with a longer expiry date, which is something I could not do online.

My last online shop had very quick use by dates and all going off at the same time.

I saved £950 last year just by switching supermarket to Aldi. If they did online I would go back to online. I love Aldi.
  • I hate hate hate going to supermarkets so it's almost always online for me. I use T's delivery saver.

Just to add to the points that others have made, I rarely get a problem item, but if I do then nine times out of ten I'll get emailed an apology voucher for £5. I also get 'Price Promise' vouchers by email that can just be put onto my next shop.

And at Christmas I get bonus vouchers and priority delivery slots, as well as masses of CC points throughout the year.

Basically, as long as you don't mind selling your soul to Tesco it's fab
Grateful to finally be debt free!
