Recommendations for a negative scanning service?

I've got about 600 old 35mm negatives that I'd like to get scanned. There's a few online services but has anyone used one they can recommend?

how can 3rd party scan them, online? you'll have to upload them, which means erm, scanning them! or am i missing something, here?
above link gives wide range of scanners, i would rather do myself (or pay a tech minded younger relative!) to keep control and safe...Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

I meant I've googled and found some services online. Like this one. You post the negatives out, they scan them then send you a disk or a download link. I do have a cheap negative scanner but it takes forever and the quality's not great. I'd rather spend a bit of money and have them done professionally.0
