How old, exactly, was the original debt, and for how much?
It may well be that CAPQUEST have been chasing you for an alleged debt that, if it were over six years old, you need not have paid. :mad:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I'd threaten harrassment and advise them I would be going to the financial ombudsman and then go to him, because this should be settled now.Looking for solutions and hoping for a miracle!0
