Career Development Loan. Help!!

I am currently studying for a master’s degree at university and have taken out a career development loan with Barclays to fund me through this. The course finishes in September but according to Barclays I have put on the application form that it finishes in June. This is causing huge problems as I have been offered an unpaid internship at a government think tank from September for three months and have enquired about deferring payment until then. I was told “no” as the payments can only be deferred for 3 months & as this will take me until September according to my original application, I have to start paying it back then.

Can anyone give me any advice? I’ve been told I don’t not assess for income support, even though I have no income. Am I entitled to any benefits? What shall I do?
