Although I've not been on these boards for some considerable time I always vowed that I'd post once I'd completed my journey to being debt free.
Well here I am. My journey started in 2008 when I faced up to the fact that I had just short of £50,000 of unsecured debt.
I was reading this forum constantly and it was where I found the strength and inspiration to deal with my debt problem.
At the time it seemed insurmountable but with the advice and help gleaned from total strangers on this forum I managed to successfully fight off a charging order application and was directed to a non fee paying debt management scheme.
Thank you to all the unnamed strangers whose posts gave me hope in the small hours whilst I lay awake with worry. Thank you to the same unknown strangers whose experiences and advice steered me in the right direction.
For those still on the journey or just starting out believe me the end comes quicker than you would imagine and you will all soon get there keep the faith it will happen for you too. All the best to you all and God bless.
