Just wanted to say a great big thank you to all of you who have responded to my thread. The response has been amazing and I am touched by how everyone on this site is so willing to offer advice and assistance. If I can be of any help to anyone I will do my best to do so.
I have contacted my bank and informed them that a fraudulent transaction has gone through my account and they are sending me a declaration form to sign so confirm that I didn't give Aktiv Kapital permission to take the funds from my account. I should get the money back within 7 working days. The bank are going to contact Aktiv Kapitals banker direct and raise this as a fraudulent dispute. Once I get the money I am withdrawing it and putting it in a savings account where those thieving bullies can't get their hands on it!!!
Once again thank you so much to everyone. You are all stars!!!

If you haven't done so already them make sure that you get your bank to cancel the card - Aktiv may still have the details and try to take the money again.0 -
I agree with above just cancel the card why should you hide your money from them?
Also I would complain formally to the DCA see there response and if it is not good enough report them to the credit services assoication which they are a member of.0 -
If U cancel the card and get a new one then the new one will have different numbers on it and they won't be able to use the old one (in case they try it again in a few months)Sealed pot challenge 822
