Advice for Newbies (beware long post)

Thank you so much for your post. I am midway in a DMP but my circs have changed recently and I'm worried where to save the extra. The shopping and banking tips are great. I really like the idea of self scanning and spotting the immediate bargains as its a nuisance when something scans at half the price at the checkout and you don't notice til later.

I'm so glad you figured all this out before you go to the horrid stage we found ourselves in (in my forties). You are an inspiration and your experiences are very valuable to share, massive thank you.
