I use the phone quite a lot, but it's much cheaper to use an internet phone service such as Skype. That's the recommended way to research using the phone, as its a hell of a lot cheaper that using your landline. My Mind Not Only Wanders..... Sometimes I Lose It Completely.....0

My surname begins with F and I still havent heard from them - coming up to 2 weeks now - so I dont think they can be doing it alphabetically. Also theres no need to say we're on the reject pile guys, because they took ages to reply to TIAL but they were accepted!0

I use voipbusterpro for outgoing calls, but don't make many to answer questions. (no longer have a landline - just cable broadband.)
Also don't forget you can get free weekend and evening calls on your BT landline with primus.0 -
I recently applied for this, and was successful :T Did the test on Monday, got a response saying I'd been accepted on Thursday, emailed back my signed contract on Friday, and got my 'welcome' email the same day. Now I'm just waiting to hear from my allocated Senior Researcher about my induction.skint but still smiling! :dance:0

Surely some of these could have been answered in less than the 120-153 characters, and does that include spaces? Bit late for me I sent mine off 3 days ago and forgot to add my name and start time etc.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

Many of mine could have too - but people pay a quid for a reply and so therefore expect a good answer. If you've answered the question but still have space, write something else relevant to the subject matter to make the customer feel he/she gets value for money :beer:0 -

Not to worry, I sent my attachments back on an email, in which even the subject was spelt wrong, Doh!
The thing is I hit send accidentally whilst outlining the content of the email. I have I broken arm at the moment (should be okay as of next Tuesday) and so typing is a real challenge.I intended to amend it once the content was all there. I re-sent it with a small eplanation but I anticipate a second rejection.

Has there every been any discussion within AQA about paying a higher rate for "Hard Questions".
It would seem like a good idea to me as I see little incentive to have a go at the hard queue because of the chance that I will spend ages on the question. If they paid more for hard ones I would be more likely to have a go.
There would be no chance of workers purposely steering questions towards the hard queue because it would inflate their skip rate.
Customers would benefit because hard questions currently stay unanswered for a long time (?) and with more people trying to answer them this would improve.
and of course I'd make loads more money :j0 -
The incentive to have a go at the hard queue is that you must answer at least 8% hard questions in any month.
If you leave it right to the end of the month to try and 'correct' your %, you will struggle.
Same goes for your skip rate (45%)0 -
