How do you think your child's mother has managed all these years?

So let's get this right, you have paid the basic rate for 7 years that was assessed on no benefits or earnings so I'm guessing it is more or less nothing. Yet you have been working and have a legal obligation to provide financial support to your child. Yet the child's mother has done this single handed for 7 years.

I doubt she got the CSA involved to keep her 'claws in you' it's there to ensure the resident parent is not solely financially responsible as the non resident parent often as you have proved avoids paying.

Do the right thing and notify them of your current situation and I can't believe you have got away with it to be honest.
  • i don't work now though.
