How long are you tied in for with the sky, broadband etc?
Also, have you checked your car insurance is the cheapest you can get. I'm insured on my partners insurance, as a named driver who gets no claims bonuses too (I only passed my test last month) for £441 for the whole year!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25

Hi Tarici,
According to my figures you have £45.93 per week to spend on yourself.
I suggest you write this amount in a little note book (a spending diary) on a Monday and keep a note of what you withdraw or spend throughout the week by subtracting each spend. If you do have any over, carry it forward in your book to the next week, as this will keep your od charges down.
Do not use CCs for any more purchases and set up standing orders for the repayments, not DDs. Never make the minimum payments.
Good luck, the figures:

Get rid of SKY
Get rid of your mobile, get a PAYG if you really need it but limit it to £10pm
Buy a bike and cycle to work0 -
I have 6 more months on sky and about 8 more months on mobile. Unfortunately I cant Cycle to work as I live in Sheffield and work in Leeds, trust me I wish I could.

Are there fees for cancelling the sky and/or mobile?
If there are, work out what you'd save if you just paid them and make a decision from there....sometimes it works out cheaper to take the punishment for opting out than to carry on.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25
