Taxreturned (website)

I have asked them for a uniform tax return for specific years but not for the recent year. Without me knowing they have called HMRC and falsely got out my recent tax return which I made myself and they tried to claim money for that. They even sent a cheque. When I called to Action Fraud Police, they said that this company has a false address on their website, and is fraudulent. Be very careful!1

Re the addresses - strangely their published address is
Tax Returned Limited
PO Box 68031
35-37 Brent Street
London
NW4 9JB
Companies house shows they are
Registered office address
Foframe House, 35-37 Brent Street, London, NW4 2EF
Which is the same address but different postcode
I wonder why they would rather walk a few hundred metres to the post office to collect their mail - maybe don't like personal callers?
In any case here are the company directors:

General advice is to never deal with anyone other than HMRC directly about tax. Unless you have an accountant who deals with them on your behalf.
These companies are what I call legal scams, designed to get money out of the unwary. HMRC will send you a rebate, if you're due one, for the grand sum of nothing. And you can always give them a ring if there's something you're not sure about.1 -
They are NOT the official HMRC website. They charge 28% plus VAT on that for any refund they get for you. My partner got scammed by them and he could not cancel it as it was too late. Most refunds you can do yourself by calling HMRC direct and asking them to check your previous years tax calculations and you can also check if you are on the right tax code.
Good luck and hope all works out for you1 -

Thanks but that was already established.
You know the thread was over a year old ?0 -
I can't remember what I ate for breakfast yesterday but I clearly remember spending time google mapping around Hendon for this OP as if it was yesterday, and it was over 2 years ago!
But thanks for resurrecting and reminding me of this thankless task.0 -
I found the application very easy but… after leaving a review I was called this happen how can you belive reviews if people are asked to remove them after they at last get back to you.
I have been asked to update or remove my review it has taken me 7 weeks to get any reply from this company I only got a text message that you can't reply to. The member of staff that I spoke to also voice his contern of this and had raised it with his manager. I have now received my payment. I got a phone call today which at first I thought it was because they had my letter or email but at the end of the call I was asked if I would remove my review. No it has taken me 7 weeks to get a reply and only then you called because of my review. You sent me incorrect information and also told me incorrect information on the phone which you then took back. This company needs a better system in order for people to make contact with them. Also nearly half my refund was taken better to do it yourself.0 -
Don't bother if only for washing uniform was owed £54 from previous three years, Tax returned sent cheque for £5, also don't be fooled by trust pilot reviews, tax return flags up nearly all the negatives, so their trust pilot score is very misleading, trust pilot also corrupt.0

They are not the official hmrc site.
Well it was a link on FB that appeared. I work for NHS and wash my uniform so started the calculater and it said I could get back £240 over 6 years.
But as it was an add im not sure if its a genuine site that people use, im a bit careful.1
