  • It seems so, I just used the same accountant I used to for my self-employed tax refund and I found this in my emails:

So if I got this right I already got my tax refund for 2013-14, but my tax code still remained 0T.

I do apologise if I am confusing everyone, I am not good at these things as you can see.

Just be sure to file self assessment in any year they ask you to. Do not assume that because you shouldn't need to that you can NOT do it.

Yes according to that image you have your refund for 2013/14.

Did you make HMRC aware that you were no longer self employed?

Yes I told them I don't receive job seekers benefits and that I am no longer self employed

You obviously had with your recent phone call. However I meant a while back as they left you on the 0T tax code.

I don't think so, I did ask accountant to inform HMRC as she was doing my tax refund.

Clearly from now on I will need to take care of things myself.
