I have varifocal lenses and was just about to go to shop on Wednesday to pay for my news lenses (keping frames) I have been quoted about £175 for the higher end of varifocal's, you know the ones that give you a wider field of vision, but wondering if this OTT and should i use someone like Reglazemyglassesbut looking for your suggestions and tips i should look out for.

I was just about to ask the same question
I have vintage frames if anyone could advise on those, Boots tell me frames need to be less than 2 years old and I am also looking to put plain sunglass lenses in vintage frames, apologies to the OP for not offering advice and thanks for posting

NO worries same topic so may as well jump on board, for your info the huigh street outlet i tried (not boots) told me age didn't matter so long as frames were in good condition, so i suspect it's just boots trying to get more money out of you.wannabeslim wrote: »I was just about to ask the same question

Try Iris Optical - no connection, other than being a happy customer. (Very happy customer with a weird prescription - new specs from them cost me about £200 less than I've paid anywhere else in the last decade). They're online.0
