Nationwide, First Direct, TSB

We are now at the point where we can start think about remortgaging as our 5 year fix ends soon. We are with BOI (through the Post Office) and are not convinced we are going to get a good remotgage offer from them.

We are looking for a 5 year fix at least but will also consider a 10 year fix. LTV is around 70%. Both myself and wife are employed, good wages and very stable jobs. No debts and perfect credit record. Basically not stretched and could move to a more expensive house but are happy where we are being secure financially and hoping we can pay off the remortgage in around 12 years (but will remortgage for around 15).

I am presuming we would have little problem getting a remortgage with any of the lenders I have mentioned? Anyone easier to deal with? We do bank with First Direct. Do any use a more generous valuer that might help us get on a better rate band?
