PDF application form, data not saving

I have an application form for a job which I have got from their website and after filling in the form, when I come to save it the document saves but none of the inputted information saves.

Does anyone know what I can do please?

I'm using Adobe Reader 9

Thank you :)

I don't know if it'll make any difference but Reader 9 is two whole versions behind the current one, which is 11.0.10. Might be worth doing the update to see if that helps.

often people who setup PDF forms don't set them up correctly to capture the content when saved!
Depending on your system setup, you may have a "print to PDF" option which will work - just go to "print" the document & then select the "PDF" option instead of your usual printer

get.adobe.com/uk/reader/ or www.adobe.com/uk/products/reader.html are the official adobe websites to download reader which is always a free product
Google search "adobe reader" and they come up at the top!

If you are just pressing SAVE then it will save in your temporary internet files.

Click SAVE AS and save it in your documents folder instead
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

Yayyyy that works!! :j :rotfl: :T

    Thank you goggle!

I have saved it and emailed a test version to my other email account and all the data has saved.

Will the recipients receive a readable copy?

Thanks Reggie Rebel I've tried saving it numerous times as SAVE AS (which I do in any case while filling out application forms) but when I've checked them there was no inputted data saved at all

I think the problem may be sorted now.

    Thanks for everyone's help :)
