How to claim a prize on Twitter

I have just received an email telling me I have won a prize on twitter.

It says I have won on their page.

Do I just press reply and fill in my details?

Can someone advise me?

No you need to send them a direct message, or else you will retweet your details to everyone who follows you! go to their profile page and there should be icon to send direct message

They may need to follow you for you to send a DM. If so, just let them know by replying. I'm not very au fait with twitter so I may of course be talking rubbish Am sure I've had that though!

Just reply and thank them .. don't put your details in the reply.

Go to their page and click on the little cog wheel at the top right.

There should be a drop down menu which includes "Send a direct message"

If that isn't visible then you will need to ask them to follow you.

You can safely put your details in a message without the whole of twitter seeing it.
