My mortgage dd comes out on the 1st, when i looked online last night the figure showing was £54802.67, then checked today when the payment has been taken, the figure now showing is £55021.89 . How comes its gone up i thought this figure normally decreases! Am i missing something! Sorry if i seem a bit daft.

It probably takes a few days for the payment to appear on the online banking. My Nationwide mortgage takes a few days to register the payment after its been made.0

The £219.22 increase will be the interest accrued for the month and added to the account. Your morgage payment will be more than this and pay the interest plus some capital which will decrease the amount once your recent payment hits the account.0
