Buffet Label Signs

Evening!

I am looking for ideas for labels to indicate what foods are at a buffet. I need them to have the name of the food and to list any allergens. I also want them to look professional but super super cheap, quick and easy.

Any ideas?

You could make some buffet flags - this link takes you to some on ebay but they're easily made with cocktail sticks, plain paper and a bit of glue.

The same seller also has differently coloured ones - perhaps you could also do something similar to indicate meat/fish/veggie items ?

ETA: or just have white ones, and colour the "tips" of the flags in ?

  • Print out your labels, c t them out and laminate, cut out the individual labels again and put 2 hole punch holes in an edge and you can thread them onto cocktail sticks or kebab skewers

Brown or White Parcel Labels, an 'Italic' pen and some cocktail sticks.
Write the name of the dish on the parcel label with the italic pen, and sticky tape the label to the cocktail stick. then put the label to the back of the plate/dish.

The same seller also has 'provision pins' so you could make your own cards, either using glossy card and waterproof pens, or print on computer, laminate and cut, then use the provision pins to hold them.

You can also get plant label stakes, but they might not stab into the sausages so well.
