I overheard someone yesterday say they had tried chicken in Dr Pepper and it was amazing, wish I had paid more attention to the conversation now.

Only those who have never tried this raise an eyebrow at the idea. Don't hesitate, don't be anxious: this really works. No one who cooks it, cooks it just once: it always earns a place in every repertoire.

Is it the slimming world recipe you're after ? That uses diet coke or diet orange drinks as the sauce in a stir fry or casserole. Takes a while to boil down and thicken or you can add a little corn flour. Coke comes out similar to a plumb or hoisin.

I use skinless chicken thighs, diced onion, 1/4 cup soya sauce and a tin of coke. Heat it all at a slow boil. The last 3 minutes is when all the magic happens! Stir constantly at the end.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!
