Hey, it may be the 1st today but look on the bright side - at least it's Monday and not Friday the 13th this month. :)

Have a great day, I'm about to start phoning. Have a complaint against a taxi company that overcharged me, a complaint against a company that hasn't shipped my order, and a complaint against myself for being just too damned lazy to do anything (oh well, won't have to go far for that lol). :D

    H.

I know how you feel! I need to ring BT as they've charged me two direct debits of £32 and £19 - i usually pay £27.50 a month, no idea what's changed. my OH has had to ring Natwest as they turned him down for a credit card as he'd already recently applied - erm, no he hadnt - they're investigating, and he also had to ring his old company as his 'extra weeks redundancy pay' was £111 and not £411. Couple that with my battle to get our old rental deposit back off our landlady, I think my head may explode :( WHY DO THESE PEOPLE MAKE EVERYTHING SO DIFFICULT!!!

I think I need to crack open some wine tonight x

  • Was planning to go out and visit a friend straight from work, so a takeaway, probably about £6. But I'm coming down with a summer cold, so I'm not sure whether I'll make it. The problem is I feel so lousy I forgot to make my packed lunch as well, so either way I'm going to be spending money today

Well it's mortgage/council tax/tv licence say so there's £482 straight out of my account!

Sadly I've got to fork out £120 this afternoon for some repairs to my car (HUGE thanks to my mechanic friend who's doing it at mates rates though, would've cost around £300 otherwise!), and I'll have to buy some lunch since I don't get to go home for it today (working through so I can go pick up the car).

Have a great day everyone xx
  • I need to buy bread and milk but due to abbey late sending new debit card will have to raid the pennies jar, so apart from that an enforced no spending day, or week until they get their act together and send my debit card.
  • Only one of my DDs comes out on the 1st - £40 for my pension

Then I've just spent £3.60 for my train to work.

Since I started reading here I've started leaving my wallet and cards at home and just taking the cash I need for the train - so even though I've been tempted to buy more things, it's impossible :D

Won't be spending any more tonight either as already have tea sorted and not going out
    August grocery challenge:
    budget £140
    spent so far: £51.34

    Total debt at LBM: £4120
    Current debt: £3622

    Hi all,

Today I spent £8.28 at lunch time, went out with work. I feel bad as I've spent more than I'd have liked on lunch, oh well. at least I can claim it back on expenses.

I'm going to aim for two more NSD days this week and a low spend weekend.

    Cheers,
    Cx
