Which is the best SIPP Provider currently?

I am currently using the Axa Elevate Platform for my pension pot, but want to transfer to another provider. I am not going to be doing many transactions so am looking for one with low annual fees.
I was steering towards either Interactive Investor or iWeb, but have seen reviews about very poor service and very slow transactions (if I do any). Someone else has also suggested James Hay but I think they could be expensive.
I just want somewhere that I can leave it in for a few years with the occasional transactions, any suggestions? thanks

too many variables that depend on *your* particular requirements. There's a SIPP comparator table, someone will be along shortly with the link no doubt (I don't have it to hand, sorry). The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

Can I ask why you are thinking of moving from Axa Elevate. I am about to start the process of moving to them and any feedback, good or bad would be welcome, thanks0

AXA Elevate are one of the better advised platforms in my opinion. Service is great. They are whole of market wrap (not just a fund supermarket). They prefund transactions, use CHAPS on many payments out (at no charge). They are largely paperless with transactions which speeds things up (for things like bed & ISA and withdrawals).
The OP is moving from advised to DIY so the platform choice will be a different as advised focus on the intermediary market. DIY focus on the DIY market. Those that try to do both tend to be a jack of all trades, master of none.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
I would question why you are sacking your adviser, that is quite a big decision as there are plenty of us out there who are interested in actually looking after our clients.
The DIY platforms are all OK, I'd pick one and see if you can get on with negotiating it as functionality and compatibility with how you want things to be done is probably more important than cost.
You're going to be saving yourself at least 0.5% by not paying an adviser, so you've got a bit of leeway.0 -
iWeb are great, no complaints. Speedy, efficient, cheap, but very basic/DIY.
However, if you are moving from an advised platform you may find the service differences too large.0 -
Do you want to hold funds?
I'm in the process of moving to X-O SIPP but this only allows UK listed stock & shares.
I moved my ISA to iWeb as this allows funds and stocks & shares.0
