Thanks Thruglemir, This is why I have kept my head down and worked hard to save and not do anything until I had a clean sheet of up to date payments for 2 years. When you say pay down loan / mortgage. Do you mean Loan to Value ratio> e.g. 20% deposit?
I believe this is a good thing and I have considered this.
