Mop can I return?

A couple of days ago I brought a mop from Home Bargains - it's for the new floor at work. We unwrapped it and gave it a try - basically all 3 of us think it's a waste as it does flow nicely ( don't know how to describe it), anyway what I would like to know is would I be able to return it to the store and exchange it for a spray mop.

I have the packaging and receipt.

The mop is not faulty just that we feel it's not suitable for us.

I have returned an item to Home Bargains before but I hadn't wrapped before I realised it was unsuitable. It was a bit of a faff at the checkout and they called the manager over to approve, I think it helped I was in there practically every week at that time so they recognised my mug


As its not faulty it's probably up to manager discretion, go at a quiet time and ask, you have nothing to lose.

As above be nice and polite and ask . But you have no rights if you just bought it and you dont like it .
But the question to ask yourselves Is It Fit for Purpose .
Especially considering the price and what's written on the box .
