Thanks. I hadn't read that specifically, just the objections of pension firms to the planned treatment. I hope it changes to something other than the current plan for HMRC to skim off tax it isn't entitled to based on a bogus claim that a lump sum is regular income.0

I usually try to underpay tax by PAYE (better in my account until time to pay up!) but TBH it all comes out in the wash, so I don't stress too much.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
