Your car is costing you £270/month. Are you able to use public transport instead? A weeky bus pass is around £20 I think. You may be able to get a family ticket for the 3 of you at a discounted rate?
Im fairly confident it would knock about £1000 a year off your outgoings.Sealed Pot Challenge:

I work unsociable hours and public transport doesn't run on the way there and would take 2 hours+ to get home assuming I don't work overtime where it could take 3 hours+ so can't really do without that. Also travel on the weekend seeing family that live a fair distance away.
Due insurance renewal soon so hopefully cut it down and get a closer job.“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.”

Your landline/internet is pretty high - you should be able to get that down to £20 (or £25 for unlimited) per month. Take a look at Post Office Broadband and Phone (other providers also available, look at a comparison site like broadbandchoices to compare deals).
If you're not already, take a look at some fuel efficient driving tips to trim your fuel costs.
You've called who about the gas and electric? Not the incumbent supplier I hope. Do a comparison, and if you use MSE's switch event you could get £30 cashback as well as a cheaper tariff.
Of course, if you're looking to move, you should be wary of signing new contracts - you may need to get on with that first before you can unlock some others savings and cashback opportunities.0 -

Could you stop seeing the family so often? My family and OH's live 140 miles away and we only see them 5 or 6 times a year. Around 3 times a year we go any visit them, the other times they come to see us. We can't afford more than 3 visits a year, so if the families (who all have more money than us) want to see me, OH or the kids, they have to make the effort and come to visit.
