Hi,for larger page views try these:
Standard view/200 posts
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...&page=1&pp=200
End Date/200 per page
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...rune=-1&pp=200
You can change the "200" at the end of the URL to make it any number you like, I think.0 -
Sorting the forum into date order is only good if the poster used the correct format, so best to enter the comps as they appear on the forum daily or you may miss quite a few
IE: when people list as E: 6/2 it will show up after E: 31/12 as when you sort into date order the forum will understand it as being E: 60/20
as in this one
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5166158
Also not putting a space between the : and date makes the comps appear after 31/12 in search
I did start to ask people to change the dates, but after several nasty PM's (from a certain person that can not be named), I will no longer bother asking people to change the format and more than likely the end-date people will miss out on entering a lot of the competitions.Yes, I know there is no "R" in the word dream in my username - it was setup in memory of my grandson :A0 -

You can reset your password if you've forgotten it. :A

hi, hope you reported the pm's to abuse,
you have as much right to request peeps to change
the E: date as anyone else has,
please don't let others put you off doing something that
is helpful for us all on the boards,
we're all just members & no-one has the rights to tell
anyone what to do or not to do,
(except MSE admin & the team of course)
I've had my share of the same type of pm's &
now have the user/s on ignore.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
I'd like to share my personal method which has greatly reduced the time taken to find comps that are relevant to me.
I use the free service https://blogtrottr.com - what this does is sends me emails when comps are posted with certain key words in either their title or body (which I have set gmail to automatically label)
to do this you need the comp forum RSS feed: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumids=72://
you can then add filters e.g. 'send me' updates that match 'any' of the following rules
some examples of my key words: ITV, issue, mag daily, ipad etc
example image [i found using 'hourly poll' setting the best which is above this]

hi, can you not put them on ignore,
it's a shame if others miss out when any helpful
information is posted.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

I mean what is the point in reporting posts or PM's when you get messages back like this.
And no I am not breaking any forum rules, as this was not a PM, but a message sent to my registered email addressPlease just make your report and give the reason why, the Forum team will decide if its against the rules or not, further reports sent in this manner will be disregarded and could become a resource issue which will possibly affect your own posting privileges.
Thanks.
