Selling old vinyl records

Hi,
A family friend recently gave me a load of old records to sell. I've been through the lot and made a note of the discogs average prices on them and there aren't any exceptionally special ones but they range in price from 20p -£15. I was wondering if anyone has any experience selling records and can recommend an outlet for me?
I am quite happy using Ebay but i'm not sure if vinyl has a better specialist website? Or even are there music magpie type websites for vinyl that will buy the bulk from me (and i can sell the ones worth over £10 seperately)
Also i'm not sure what the postage costs will be but i think it will be around £3.80 Royal mail once i've wrapped them. Although i haven't looked at couriers. Any advice or suggestions on how to post or who to post with will be welcomed!
Thanks in advance for all you help on this.

On music money savings forum, I remember someone was able to give another poster advice about record prices etc. It might be better to ask there.ally.0

I can empathise with you, ALittleInLove. I'm in the same boat with a load of old vinyl that was dumped on me by a neighbour who moved house recently:mad:.
No idea what to do with them. I feel that if they had been valuable the neighbour would have kept them or sold them himself as I know he went through them before asking me to take them off his hands:(.
I called in at a second-hand music shop in a local town (came across it by accident and didn't have the records with me at the time) but had a long chat with the owner. They tend to cater for students' tastes so he would only be able to offer a very small amount for older or more middle-of-the-road(boring) titles which mine are.
Apparently the sleeves of some of the really desirable titles are worth as much/more than the record itself especially if the disc is damaged/scratched. Even empty sleeves can have a value.
Intended to do more searching online but have not had the time. Will watch this thread with interest in case of updates and will also keep you informed of anything useful I find out.
Good Luck:beer:0
