Tesco Loan Application

Hi
I was approved in principle for a Tesco loan, and sent the documents (6 weeks payslips) back on Wednesday so it is likely that would have received them by Friday just gone. Does anyone know when I could expect to hear a final decision, and will I be told by telephone either way, or by post?
I've heard of some people being telephoned on the day their documents were received to tell them they'd been accepted...which makes me think I've probably been rejected...
If you were rejected how did you hear, by post or phone?
Any personal experiences would be interesting to hear..Thanks!

Give them a call tomorrow if they are open or Monday.0

Were the payslips inline with the loan application?
If so I can't see why you'd have anything to worry about. If not maybe so...0 -
myn was phone, and within a day of docs but I never got asked for slipsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Hi all
Thanks for the replies
I just called them and I should hear a decision from them on Monday or Tuesday at the latest- the lady said they don't generally call, even if the application is successful- I just have to keep checking my bank.
My payslips were inline with what I stated on the app form, except I was in my overdraft for a good part of December so I am slightly worried about that.
Anyway cheers.0 -
Sorry I had to send bank statements not pay slips!0
