I received a offer in principle from halifax, so placed a offer on a house, they have run 7 credit checks on me, looking at my experian report, I have put in my application for my mortgage, then they booked a valuation which was done yesterday, today I received a letter from halifax (key facts illustration) which has a breakdown with no further conditions applied (it says it is not a legally binding offer, so confused where I stand, am I going to get an offer? Have I secured the deal?
