We need to get a TV aerial removed from our chimney - the bracket has become lose and I think that it will come adrift in the next strong wind.
We have Sky - so no use for the aerial
Who should we use for the work and what will it cost ?

Local independent aerial installer?
Are you sure it is wise to get rid of the aerial? You have Sky, but whoever plans to buy your house might not? Plus, if you lose your signal, you can use Freeview.
While someone's up there anyway, a new aerial won't cost much.0 -
Could it be the lashing kit just needs tightening ??0

No - in the last windy conditions (2 or 3 weeks ago) - we found some pieces of bracket on the ground by the front of the house - they were pieces of "angle iron" - from where the strapping is wrapped round the chimney - so I am worried that it may come down !!
Besides - the cable has been snipped off in the loft in any case..0 -

If the putative new owner does not want Sky it is still possible to use the dish to receive Freesat although having an aerial does give a fall back if the dish stops working for some reason.0 -
