I agree it is crap I had the single version of it, the range was poor just a few metres from the base and got noise. Your better getting a DECT phone. I now got a Panasonic with ponophonic tunes (twin) not answer machine though, excellent phone.

I will NEVER buy from Simply Systemax (misco) again.

VERY poor service and Sales staff with attitude I can do without, thanks.

totally agree.

Had a duff bt calypso system i purchased from Misco, ( wouldnt read my orange sim card, additional handset kept needing to be registerd) . I was on the phone ( a damn 0870 number) for 40 mins to get it returned.

Ebuyer do indeed do a better job, and thats saying something.

does the Synergy 700 have call screening at all, i.e. you can listen to answerphone messages as they are recorded and choose who you like!?

I thought call screening was on qite a lot of phones but looking around seems to not be a very common feature nowadays

just means hopefully you get a better singnal at a longer range

Yes, it does have that facility

Myself and my Mother both have this model and find it very good - if you have a very large house or want to use it while at the neighbours the range isn't so hot.

i recently brought a bt freelance xd500 twin on ebay, and have been v impressed with it. cost £25 delivered, dixons are selling the same model for £100. it has call screnning and pretty much everything.
