Mizmir, I am very sure you could join in the ebay thing - surely you have stuff to get rid of?

Mizmir ... please do join us in the ebay thing, I really havent got much left to sell, I've gradually got rid of most of it already through ebaying and car boots, but its amazing how you manage to keep finding stuff, have a go, whats the worst that can happen, you make some money and clear some space ;):D Please feel free to keep posting here too, I love it when I get new posts on here :o:D

Ok - I will try. I have a lot of junk but noone ever seems to want to buy it on ebay or anywhere else!! But as you say benben - what have I to lose? And I certainly could do with the space! Right then - first place to look (cos I have to clear some space there to put the stuff I brought from the old garage) is the garage.... weather permitting I will pull everything out and see what I can find (it is packed to the rafters with stuff! :o)

[tiptoes in sheepishly].... I wonder if I could pop back and join the ebay challenge. Never done it before, and I might have a very short career, as I don't seem to have much of the kind of stuff that sells, but I'll try. I've got a ton of science fiction magazines to get rid of - was going to try preloved, through quidco, anybody know what the ebay situation is like on them?

PS - just sticking to the thread, sounds like you had a lovely day, benben.

Thanks! No tips, thats for sure - I'm an ebay virgin, and since quidco pay you to go on preloved, and presumably preloved don't charge, I thought I'd go there. The thing thats weighing my house down is science fiction mags - local 2nd hand shop was overstocked, wouldn't take them. Lots of other things, but they're the main things. My main push will be on matched betting, I think.

How are you doing? I know you give yourself nice weeends - looking at your sig, looks like you're doing really well.
