Don't know if this site will be of any use to you:-

My Parents are into real ales and beers from around the world. For my Dad's 50th Birthday I bought him 50 different bottles of Lager/Beer - I bought a lot of them from the above website.
My Parents are also members of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale :rolleyes: ) and they have the CAMRA book which lists the pubs around the country which sell Real Ale - so a CAMRA book may be a good gift for someone who is into Real Ales too.

Morrisons often/always have their real ales on four for a fiver - my OH loves real ale and always chooses the ones with the highest alcohol content (not sure if this is for the taste or for the affect!).
A couple of Christmases ago I got my brother a CAMRA membership.
What about pretendy beer bath foam/soap?
A tankard/personalised glass? Or a 'Yard' of Ale?
Do an 'ale' search on eBay for lots of ideas!
Good luck!

Hi,
Im sure Home Bargains sell bottles of ale cheaply, so if you have a loal one check in there, they also had some large ice buckets with different things printed on them, maybe use this as the "basket".
I hope this helpsSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
hi,not sure if anyone lives near but in burslem ,stoke-on-trent there is a lil shop called the beer emporium and they have wall to wall bottles of beer and wine but not your usual supermarket brands,my oh is like a kid in a sweet shop when we go in!! you can also buy the glasses to match the beer,buy gift vouchers and make up your own hampers/cases ,hope this mite help someone
Also i was in home bargains the other day and they had beer cooler/buckets which were £2.99 i think but they would make a great change to the usual box or basket if you was making a beer hamper.:j cazian :j
If i was useful please press thanks0 -
My ex's Dad used to collect beer glasses - no trick to it, but if he was in a pub and found a glass he liked, he'd ask the barman how much he could buy it for - 9 times out of 10, he'd get it free!
So maybe, next time you're out for a drink, give it a go and see what happens - plain pint glasses would still be nice, but if you could get a bottle of ale with a matching glass, even better.0
