Quick Quid won't give me bank details so I can set up a standing order...advice pls?

Options
Hello all,

Due to changing personal circumstances & my partner being ill I was unable to pay the last installment of my loan. I straight away did the online 'debt remedy' with Stepchange & this advised a token payment in the short term. I also called Step Change & they agreed this. However....Quick Quid will NOT give me bank a/c/sort codes to pay them-& just said 'it's not their policy'. On further advice from Stepchange I've escalated the e-mail to a complaint & to be passed on to a manager-& have given them 28 days to reply (I'm still getting the automated 'chase' e-mails-which do'nt worry me) or will take this up with the financial Ombudsmen.

Has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know the /ac number & sort code? Trying to sort this out & contacted them before payment was due (it was a direct debit so cancelled this) nut can't get any futher. Any advice?

I am in exactly the same boat. Pounds to pocket have agreed a £30/mth repayment plan but there's no way I'm giving them my new debit card details or direct debit. Can anyone suggest where to go from here, complaints letter maybe?

Call them and ask for their details so you can set up a Standing Order, there is no reason they shouldn't give them to you.

Charmed1318-they refuse point blank -only accepting direct debit authority or a visa debit card.

Yes they refuse. I have emailed the ombudsman to see where I stand - I'll post on here if I get a response.

ooitsme-I gave them 28 days on an e-mail to them before I contact the Ombudsmen.

Pounds to pocket just emailed me to suggest I ask someone else to make payments on my behalf! They aren't budging. The email to the ombudsman was just a general enquiry, we shall see what comes up.

Do they accept PayPal? Or get one of those prepaid cards that you top up?

What about a prepaid credit card? Use it solely for the purpose of paying debts to these people so that you only load it with money you're prepared for them to take.
