Hi Everyone.
Does anybody know who is the cheapest phone and broadband provider, I'm with BT at the minute and I am fed up every quarter it comes in its gone up. At the minute I'm on unlimited calls, which I'm going to change as we hardly ever use the phone and unlimited broadband, my latest bill was a £179.00, £12 of that was calls to mobiles. Also who is the cheapest electric provider I have a keypad meter and I'm with Budget.
Thanks for the help

I pay £44 a month to BT for unlimited 70mb fibre BB, BB is excellent I have to say and I get BT sports for free too. I cancelled 1471 etc as they all became chargeable last year, I get free calls after 7pm and weekends but hardly ever use the phone as we all have better mobile deals
If I had Virgin connection outside my home I would take their BB only option and do away with the phone line, but as I live in a non foot pathed cul-de-sac I don't get it
BT will eventually be forced by Ofcom to provide BB only option as landline phone usage is dying out everywhere. This will hopefully happen when they start FTTH (fibre to the home) rollout rather than just FTTC (fibre to the cabinet).I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -
As brushed on by Stevey, do you really need the landline? are you in a Virgin Media area where you can get BB only..... that's what I do..0

So the total Monthly Charges taking into account Line Rental comes to £35.10
There is a new feature if you pay your account, as soon as it comes in you can avail of the Speedy Payment feature which gives you an extra 10% Discount.
Trust that this helps you, the Anytime UK Calls Boost £7.50 is brillant, as it is Unlimited FREE Calls to UK Mobiles & Landlines at anytime of the day.

I`m with Fuel broadband, i pay £18.?? every month. that includes line rental, unlimited calls to landlines 24/7 and unlimited broadband. I was with BT with fibre optic but the bills were getting out of hand every month. Broadband not as fast as we were used to but none of us stream films or need a really fast broadband so extremely happy. Have been on this since July`14.0

With talktalk,
fibre medium £5 a mth
anytime calls + mobile calls £7.50
Half price essentials £4.25
line rental £16.70
free international calls
£2 a mth loyalty for 12 mth
18 mth contract total cost under £32 a mth -speedy payment discount if I pay online on bill date rather than let direct debit pay.
So I pay around £28.80 a mth.
Used to be even cheaper but the value line rental (one annual charge has gone up now to £180) so not worth paying it any more.
