It is sad. A free book swap scheme at work attracted little take-up.
I have the super-sized Kindle and can enlarge text making it so much easier to read. I really suffered when I completed a recent law degree in reading text that was ridiculously small, often with black text on a dark blue background.
The Kindle must surely win over in terms of greenness.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -

I do wonder. All the precious metals used, packaging, carbon miles etc vs any nasty print processes and carbon miles? I honestly dont know!
And for someone getting rid of old books it was a good option.0
