Csa! unfair payments!

I really need someone to help. I received 1x £16 payment for December and 1x £31 payment for December. I am supposed to receive £31 weekly so I have been underpaid for December and January. My ex partner has a child with another ex, so I was under the impression that whatever payment the csa receive from my ex would be split fairly between the two qualifiying children. I rang the csa to tell them about my missing payments, and today someone rang me back, to say 'the father must of had a low income these 2 months that is why my payments have been missing'. ok fair enough I thought.
What the csa don't realise is that I am friends with my ex partners ex wife, I called her today and she said that she received £400 in December and 136 a few days ago. She is also suppose to receive £31 weekly.
What I want to know is how come the money that the csa have received from the father has not been shared equally between the 2 children i.e. my child hardly anything, but his exs child has had 2 large payments.
When I rang the csa they wouldn't discuss the other parents account which is fair enough, they don't need to, as I already know what she has received. Seems so unfair and I reaaly need someone to help me please

Your ex makes one payment to the CSA and what happens after they receive that payment is out of hands.
In theory, your ex is paying 20% of his net salary which is divided evenly between both children.
In practice there may be a number of reasons why the sums won't be equal - perhaps with one child he has an element of shared care or contact expenses. Perhaps the lump sum you refer to is a back payment of arrears?
The only way you'll know how your payment's been worked out is to make a formal enquiry...my advice, copy the letter to your MP and it will mean the CSA will put some effort into making a reply.0
