Been looking at buying the cordless model for a while now and with the Argos deal Ul and running thought we would jump on this and get one...there are two available, one is 229 and. Other is 249. From what I can see they are both the same just the cheaper model comes with the accessory pack...am I missing something or can die hard dyson fans give me a heads up on the differences please?

Here is the link....http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Search/searchTerm/SAVE+UPTO+50+POUNDS+ON+DYSON+CORDLESS+VACUUMS+AT+ARGOS.htm?!!!!!ar:home:editrow2:slot2:dyson

Thanks in advance

The difference between the models is that the more expensive one comes with the pet hair tool.

I would go for the one with the pet hair tool (it has a rotating brush head) which I have found is also really good for cleaning stairs, furniture, car seats & getting pet hair off furniture & bedding.

    I hope that helps.

agree the animal with the beating head is great

i got myy DC44 animal from dyson outlet on ebay, came with one year guarantee and cost £179.

they seem to come up regularly so might be worth checking there

We have gone for the 229 one as we don't have animals and think this will be suffice....as far as I am aware this also has the rotating brush head too
