TSB mortgage query and equifax

Good morning,
I have a query regarding a potential mortgage application through TSB. I do all my banking with TSB and have done for 5 years, of which there has never been any issue, no late payments or anything. I have a small loan through them and also a credit card which I pay in full monthly.
However, I can see from my Equifax report that TSB don't share any information with them, so my accounts don't appear at all.
If I was to apply for a mortgage through TSB, would they be entitled to check my Equifax report as part of the application, despite them not sharing information with them? I thought CRA's were based on reciprocity and to get info you need to share info?
The reason I ask is because I have a default which shows on my Equifax file for an account I wasn't aware of (United Utilities - they claim to have been 'emailing' a bill.)
This default is literally the only thing on my Equifax report, so any potential lender that checks it would see nothing at all apart from a default as TSB don't share info with them. It all leaves me a little confused

Does TSB search Equifax?
Your existing accounts will be checked internally, so their lack of appearance on Equifax won't make any difference.
Is the address Equifax has for you the same as the address TSB has? Any errors?I am a mortgage broker. The addresses match as they should, the only 'error' currently is that the default on Equifax shows as unsatisfied but this was only paid off in full at the beginning of last week as soon as I was aware of it. From what I can gather TSB don't search Equifax but they use Experian and Call Credit.
I only ask as my mortgage broker has warned me that he can apply through TSB but they may also check Equifax when the full application is made and I wanted to try and confirm that they would be entitled to do that if they don't share info with them?0
