Hi Folks
Loving the forums, lots of good info and advice but now for my turn!
Myself and my partner have had mortgages before, sales of properties completing this week. We are looking to buy a newbuild property which will be ready at the end of the year.
I earn 33,500 and my partner 37k. We are looking at a new build with a price of 150k and using htb, put down a 5% deposit and a 20% loan (29500) through htb, so we'd looking for a 75% mortgage which would be about 112,500. I will be paying off some finance and think I would be left with about 2500 credit card debt. Credit histories are good, with the exception of a late catalogue payment over a year ago which was paid the next day.
Just in broad terms obviously, do our chances seem reasonable?
Many Thanks
