Rather than complain about the lender, why not give some thought to the financial help that your parents have given you over the past 20 years which may have been funded from the overdraft . If this is the case do the right thing.0

They should sell the house, clear the debt and you could offer to let them live with you.0 -
One correction the reserves don't reduce as you pay down your mortgage.
They go up with Barclays offset mortgages.
Also since Barclays took over they have written to borrowers about the reserve and the option to reduce or remove them.
Be interesting to know the original mortgage reserve and house value at the time the mortgage was taken
Barclays also send out monthly statements for offset mortgages with details so easy to see the situation.0
